Tips - pause your scooter during confinement

6 things to do to pause your scooter during confinement

So as not to have any unpleasant surprises at the end of the confinement, Peugeot Motocycles will assist you in putting your vehicle on hold.

1 / The battery

Disconnect your battery. Recharge it every 15 days with a suitable device or use a maintenance charger during the entire period of non-use (see instructions, if necessary contact your dealer by phone)

2 / Tire wear and pressure

Check the tire wear with the wear indicators on the tire. Check the pressure and if necessary inflate your tires with a compressor or a manual inflation pump. (see instructions, if necessary contact your dealer by phone)

3 / Levels

(see instructions, if necessary contact your dealer by phone)

For 4-stroke engines: check the oil level.

For 2-stroke engines: check the level remaining in the dedicated oil tank.

Check the coolant level (liquid cooled engine).

4 / Brakes

Checking the wear of the brake pads and / or rear brake linings (see manual, if necessary contact your dealer by telephone)

Check the brake fluid level (hydraulic braking)

5 / Cleaning

Cleaning the bodywork and the windshield with a soft cloth and soapy water or non-corrosive products (if in doubt, test on an invisible part).

6 / Maintenance book

Take the time to read or re-read your operation and maintenance manuals and check if your vehicle is up to date with the specified periodic maintenance. Contact your dealer to make an appointment when possible.
